Goddesses For A Cure Surpass $30,000.00 Mark

The Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life team of Goddesses For A Cure came though again this year. This all female team raised $33,386.39 and maintain their title as top fund raising team. But it’s really not about the titles. It’s about helping to beat cancer and the real winners are those friends, family and strangers who are fighting this terrible disease that need our help. EnerMax Homes wants to thank all the suppliers, sub trades, clients, friends and family that helped us help The Goddesses For A Cure. To Kelly Davis and all the girls of Goddesses For A Cure, WELL DONE. Keep up the good work. 

EnerMax Homes Supports Goddesses For A Cure In Quest To Defend Relay For Life Fund Raising Title

The team of “Goddesses For A Cure” are back for the 2010 Canadian Cancer Relay For Life being held in Sackville on Saturday, June 11th. The Goddess For a Cure are the defending fund raising team champions and are looking to repeat this year, but they need your help. Many members of this all female team have been affected by this disease including team member Judy Davis who is a 2 time cancer survivor and Marlene Stymest who lost her father to cancer last year the week before the 2009 Relay For Life and her mother in-law, my mother, to cancer 6 years ago. We have all been, or know someone, who has been affected by this terrible illness. Please help EnerMax Homes support this team and the Canadian Cancer Society by donating what you can. No amount is too small or too BIG.

EnerMax Homes Selected As Builder Of Exclusive 7500 F2 Private South End Residence

EnerMax homes is very pleased to announce that they have been selected as the builder of a custom 7500 F2 private residence located on the North West Arm in south end Halifax. The home, valued at approximately $2,000,000, will feature numerous energy efficient upgrades and many custom features requested by the client.

Some of the energy efficient features of this home include ICF Construction, Expandable Foam Insulation, R36 exterior walls, R60 ceilings, R20 basement slab insulation, air change rating of .80 or below, solar heating, in ground earth collectors and custom German designed windows and doors.

Other special features of this home include a 30’ in ground indoor ICF pool, floor to ceiling windows, custom German made “accordion” style patio door, 10’ ceilings, heated concrete driveway, water side patio deck and custom cribbing with a 30’ dock.
