We have built three homes in our past with very reputable builders and our fourth home with EnerMax Homes. This home, without a doubt, far exceeds the quality and workmanship of our last three. We had great communication with our builder and were notified asap if there were any issues that needed to be addressed. Our home is an R2000 home and  has been certified with Nova Scotia Home Builders Association with an EnerGuide rating of 80. To us this equals big savings, we are very pleased. It also enables us to qualify for a $1000 rebate. We were also very pleased to drive by our home while under construction and see workers there day after day, weather permitting. We chose EnerMax Homes to build our custom designed home and are pleased with the finished product. From our first meeting Peter was prepared to work with our design and made suggestions that enabled us to stay within our budget. At all our meetings he was organized and prepared with information regarding materials and sub-contractors. We found Peter to be knowledgeable about construction generally and energy efficiency in particular.

The ICF foundation works well with our in floor radiant heat system. This, combined with the expandable foam insulation in the exterior walls and the attic, makes for a tight, warm home. We are pleased with the interior and exterior finish work and have received many compliments about our house.

Throughout construction he kept us informed of the status of our project. We relied on him for advise regarding the many choices we had to make and were not disappointed at all. We had no delays in construction and all deadlines were met. We were pleased to move in on time with only a few minor issues outstanding. These were completed in a timely way. During the first year a couple minor warranty issues have arisen, EnerMax Homes addressed these to our satisfaction.

We were also pleased with Peter's employees and sub-contractors, all were reliable and pleasant. We have recommended Peter and EnerMax to others interetsed in building their own home.
